Vacuum long tape casting coater has a vacuum chuck and an oil-free vacuum pump that can be used to make long thick films with a micron-sized adjustable doctor blade. With a unique automatic propulsion unit that produces a smooth coating on any material over a length of 180 mm and a width of 600, it is an ideal tool for low-cost development of 18650 battery electrode materials.
